MINNESOTA - Hours after a stunning last second loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the San Francisco Forty-Niners received even more bad news.
Running back Frank Gore will miss at least two games with a high ankle sprain, according to the NFL Network.
The report indicates the Niners are hopeful Gore will return to the team after the Niners' bye in Week 6.
Gore limped off the field after his only carry of the game early in the first quarter of the Niners' 27-24 loss.
Glenn Coffee rushed for 54 yards on 25 carries in Gore's place.
