ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Tampa Bay Rays senior adviser Don Zimmer was back at the ballpark less than three weeks after back surgery.

Zimmer visited the Rays' clubhouse before Friday night's game against Toronto and said he is feeling good. He had successful surgery for decompression of a nerve in his lower back on Sept. 2.

The 78-year old Zimmer is in his 61st baseball season. He was hired as Tampa Bay's senior adviser in January 2004.
