CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - The Harvard men's hockey team will wear new helmets this year that are designed to provide extra protection from concussions.
Coach Ted Donato said the team will be working with The Messier Project, spearheaded by Hall of Famer Mark Messier, to promote safe play during the season.
The Messier Project said Harvard is the first Division I team to join the campaign addressing concussions in hockey.
