Eric Mangini and Brett Favre may have come and gone, but the New York Jets are still feeling their financial burden.
On Wednesday, the NFL issued a total of $125 thousand in fines against the Jets and Mangini for the team's failure to list Favre's arm injury on injury reports last season, according to ESPN.
The team faces a $75 thousand fine; while general manager Mike Tannenbaum will have to pay $25 thousand. The league fined Mangini $25 thousand.
Favre was not listed on any injury reports down the stretch last season, despite suffering from a torn biceps tendon; an injury that required offseason surgery.
