DENVER (AP) - Troy Tulowitzki has hit for the cycle in the Rockies' game against the Cubs, getting a triple in the seventh inning to become the fifth Colorado player to achieve the feat.
Tulowitzki homered in the first, singled in the second and doubled in the fourth Monday as part of a 4-for-4 night. He also tied a career high with five RBIs.
Tulowitzki's single in the second inning came after a deep fly he hit down the left-field line was ruled foul and upheld by the first video review in Coors Field history.
It was the eighth time in Coors Field history a player has hit for the cycle. Fred Lewis of San Francisco was the last one to do it, on May 13, 2007.
The last Colorado player to hit for the cycle was Mike Lansing, who did it on June 18, 2000.
