SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The San Francisco Giants activated infielder Rich Aurilia from the 15-day disabled list on Friday following his rehab stint in the minors.

Aurilia, who went on the DL with a toe infection on July 21, had two home runs and four RBIs in five games in the minors while splitting time between Triple-A Fresno and Double-A San Jose.

The 37-year-old Aurilia was batting .210 with two home runs and 15 RBIs in 46 games for San Francisco. To make room for him, the Giants optioned outfielder John Bowker to Fresno.
