PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Three men allegedly involved in a fatal fight over spilled beer at a Philadelphia Phillies stadium bar are in court for a preliminary hearing.

A coroner has described the severe head and abdominal injuries
suffered by 22-year-old David Sale Jr. on July 25.

Police say Sale was part of a bachelor party that got ejected from a sports bar attached to Citizens Bank Park, and then fought with another ejected group in a nearby parking lot. Police say the fight was over spilled beer.

The suspects, 35-year-old Charles Bowers, 45-year-old Jim Grove and 28-year-old Francis Kirchner are being held on murder and conspiracy charges. They are all from Philadelphia.

The hearing Wednesday will determine whether there is enough evidence to go to trial.
