LOS ANGELES (AP) - Manny Ramirez has left the Los Angeles Dodgers' game against the Cincinnati Reds after being hit by a pitch.
Ramirez was hit on his left arm by a pitch from Homer Bailey leading off the third inning Tuesday night. He was replaced by pinch runner Juan Pierre.
Ramirez made a running catch to end the second and his triple in the first scored two runs to give the Dodgers a 2-0 lead.
There was no immediate word on his condition.
It's the second time this season that Ramirez has been hit by a pitch. The first came May 4 against Arizona. He homered in the first inning and was hit three plate appearances later. He stayed in that game.
