ESPN.com is reporting that Jason Kidd has given a verbal commitment that he will re-sign with the Dallas Mavericks.
Kidd, 36, will sign a three-year contract worth a guaranteed $36 million dollars.
Kidd chose to return to the Mavs instead of signing with the New York Knicks. The Knicks had offered a three-year contract worth a reported $19 million dollars.
Kidd is a nine time all-star selection at point guard.
