An NBA source says the Celtics have offered Pistons free agent Rasheed Wallace a contract, according to a report published in the Boston Globe.
The report says Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, coach Doc Rivers, president Danny Ainge, and managing partner Wyc Grousbeck all attended a three-hour meeting with Wallace in Detroit.
The source says Wallace is interested, but will not rush into making a decision.
The Globe reports Charlotte, San Antonio, Orlando and Cleveland are also rumored to be interested in the forward/center.
