Justin McDaniel moved into first place with an 84 in the Bareback on Monday night during the 4th performance of the Reno Rodeo. It was the highest score of the week, and his 163 total on two rides is also tops for the week.

The Minor (Riley and Brady) brothers had the best time of the night in the Team Roping with a time of 4.8 seconds.

It was a great showing for Fallon's Sterling Lambert. He had a time of 4.7 seconds in the Steer Wrestling. That was the second-best time of the go-round. But he had a NS (no score) in his first try during the slack competition. Lambert is out of the Finals.

Wade Sundell had to "man-up" in the Saddle Bronc. He scored an 83 for the best score of the night, and he did it with a dislocated kneecap. Sundell actually had to be carried out of the Arena after his ride.

Shane Hanchey rebounded from a NS (no score) in the slack competition to put up an 8.80 in the Tie-Down Roping. That was the best score of the night.

Another local was up in the Barrel Race. Fallon's Marvel Murphy had a disastrous run, knocking down two barrels during her run. She finished with a time of 27.52. She has a 45.02 on two runs. Murphy is out of the money.

It was another tough night in Bull Riding. Only one cowboy was able to hold on for the eight count. Steve Woolsey scored an 83 on Bring It. That was the third best score of the week.
