Aces Coming Back Into Town For Big Homestand

RENO, Nev. — Fresh off the longest road trip of the season, the Reno Aces will roar back into town Thursday night to kick-off a seven-game homestand jam-packed with exciting promotions.

The fun begins with a bang right from the start, as Thursday night’s series opener against the Salt Lake Bees will be a Coors Light Thursday Night, with $2 Coors Light available beginning one hour before first pitch until the fifth inning. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m., with gates opening at 6:05 p.m.

On Friday, the Aces pay tribute to our men and women in uniform with Military Night. All active military personnel with identification can purchase tickets for $4 off the regular price. Additionally, it will be another Intraform Fireworks Friday, presented by KOLO 8.

Saturday is Intraform Poster Giveway Night, with posters going to the first 2,500 fans in attendance. Also, Saturday is Reno Rodeo Night, presented by KBUL. The Aces will be holding a “Wiffle Bull” competition on the plaza outside Aces Ballpark at 5:30 p.m. Fans can swing for the fences with a chance to win great prizes from KBUL.

On Fox 11 Family Sunday, Youth Jerseys will be given to the first 1,500 kids ages 12 and under, courtesy of Waste Management. Additionally, Tahoe Creamery will be back out to the ballpark, where they will announce the ballclub’s official “Ace Cream.” Free samples of the new ice cream flavor will be available for fans.

On Monday through Wednesday, the Las Vegas 51s head north to Reno to kick-off the Silver State Diamond Challenge. The intrastate rivals will meet 16 times this season, with the series winner taking home a special traveling trophy and bragging rights for its half of the Silver State.
