The Oakland Raiders signed QB Charlie Frye on Monday night. Terms of the deal were not released.
The 28-year old Frye spent most of the past two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. He was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns back in the 2005 NFL Draft.
Frye started five games his rookie year and 13 games in 2006. But he's only started one game in each of the last two seasons.
The Raiders now have six quarterbacks on their current roster. Many think that this signing spells the end of Andrew Walter's stay in Oakland.
