MIAMI (AP) - The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled two pitchers from Double-A Mobile to shore up a staff stunned by the loss of grieving reliever Scott Schoeneweis.

Schoeneweis left the team and was placed on the bereavement list after his wife was found dead at their home Wednesday. The cause of death hasn't been determined.

Right-hander Kyler Newby and left-hander Clay Zavada were recalled Thursday from Mobile. Right-hander Bryan Augenstein was optioned to Triple-A Reno.

Right-hander Billy Buckner will be recalled from Reno to start Friday at Oakland, manager A.J. Hinch said. Buckner has an ERA of 15.75 in four innings with Arizona this season.
