SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - David Wright hit a tiebreaking RBI single in the ninth inning and finished with four of New York's franchise-record seven stolen bases, leading the Mets to a 7-4 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Thursday night.
Wright had three hits and drove in two runs for New York, which has won nine of 11. Gary Sheffield and Carlos Beltran each had two hits and Ramon Castro had two RBIs.
Sheffield, Beltran and Alex Cora also stole a base for New York, which ran wild on the basepaths with speedy Jose Reyes sitting out with a stiff right calf.
John Maine yielded two runs and seven hits in 6 2-3 innings but got a no-decision when Mets reliever Bobby Parnell (2-0) gave up RBI hits to Jose Uribe and Edgar Renteria in the eighth.
