The Wolf Pack softball team will have to play this weekend's Palo Alto Regional without two of its top hitters.
Britton Murdock (broken hand) and Kelsey Starr (leg) will have to sit out at least the weekend and possibly even longer.
Both players will be re-evaluated if the Pack makes it past this weekend, according to a spokesman for the team.
Third-seeded Nevada (39-17) plays second-seeded Cal Poly (39-10) in the first game of the Regional at 3 p.m. Friday.
