Bjornstad Wants Out of Letter-of-Intent

Steven Bjornstad has asked the University of Nevada to be released from his signed letter-of-intent. His request has been denied.

Bjornstad's high school coach told the RGJ that he plans to either sit out next season or play at the junior college level.

The 6'10", 225lb Bjornstad was the All-Region Player of the Year last season at Columbia River High School in Washington.

The Wolf Pack has already let Mark McLaughlin out of his LOI. McLaughlin will play at Baylor next season. Nevada also kicked Ahyaro Phillips off of the team following his arrest for having a gun on school property.
