LB Leroy Hill Reaches Six-Year Agreement with Seahawks

Starting linebacker Leroy Hill says he is happy to be back with the Seattle Seahawks after his three-day stint as a free agent.

Hill was at Seattle's minicamp Friday with the Seahawks' first-team defense, one day after he agreed to a new contract with the team.

Hill became a free agent last weekend after the team dropped its franchise tag on him and Hill refused to sign an $8.3 million tender offer.

The Seahawks and Hill reached an agreement Thursday on a six-year contract worth a guaranteed $15.5 million. Hill said the Seahawks were aggressive in pursuing a long-term deal with him.
