Dickerson Feeling Better, Unlikely To Play Before Friday

Former Wolf Pack standout Chris Dickerson continues to recover from a nasty head-to-head collision with Astros shortstop Miguel Tejada, according to MLB.com.

The report indicates that it is unlikely Dickerson will play again until Friday. However, a trip to the disabled list will not be needed.

"The fact is he's gotten much better in a short period of time," Reds manager Dusty Baker told the website. "We have an off-day Thursday. He should hopefully be better and ready on Friday."
