The Hawai'i Warriors are losing their starting point guard. The Honolulu Advertiser is repoorting that Kareem Nitoto will not return to the team next season.

The 6-foot-2 sophomore plans to transfer so he can be closer to his home in the Bay Area. Reports say that his mother has grown very ill.

Nitoto averaged 7.1 points, 3.4 assists and 3 rebounds per game last season for the Warriors. He was also selected to the All-WAC Defensive team.
