Washington State has added Curtis Allen as an assistant under new men's basketball coach Ken Bone.
Bone announced Monday night he was bringing Allen with him from Portland State.
Allen was on Bone's staff at Portland State as a graduate assistant for four seasons. Allen worked primarily with PSU's guards and defense. He also recruited for the Vikings.
Bone was an assistant at Washington in 2003-04, Allen's final two seasons as a player with the Huskies.
Allen is a native of Tacoma who played in 117 games for the Huskies. He finished as the most accurate free-throw shooter in UW history at 86.7 percent.
