Boise State Holds Annual Spring Football Game

On a fake reverse, Austin Pettis threw an 85-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Shoemaker late in the fourth quarter as the White team came from behind to defeat the Blue team 14-10 in a Boise State scrimmage that wrapped up spring practice on Friday.

Quarterback Kellen Moore completed 10 of 16 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown for the Blue team before coming out of the game at
the start of the second half with his squad ahead 10-0.

Michael Coughlin put the White team on the board late in the third quarter with a 26-yard touchdown pass to Shoemaker to cut the lead to 10-7.

Coach Chris Petersen says the Broncos had a good spring practice and he saw steady improvement.
