HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) - Olympic swimmer Dara Torres says she is
eyeing the world championships in Rome this summer.
Torres, who earned three silver medals at the Beijing Olympics,
spoke with patients at a South Florida children's hospital and met
teenage volunteers. She gave the keynote address at the 10th Annual
Rodenberg Lecture Series, which focuses on women's healthcare
Torres, who won the 50-meter freestyle at the Austin Grand Prix
last month, has a new book out called "Age is Just a Number."
