Nashville Recording Artist West To Sing National Anthem At Aces Opener

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nashville recording artist Emily West will sing the inaugural national anthem at Aces Ballpark during Friday night's home opener between the Reno Aces and the Salt Lake City Bees.

West is currently recording her debut album for Capitol Records. Earlier this month, she released her single "That Kind of Happy."

The Aces are in their first season as the Pacific Coast League's Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Bees are affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels.

The 6:05 p.m. home opener at the $50 million downtown stadium is sold out. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
