Knicks Call Up Hunter From D-League

The New York Knicks have signed forward Chris Hunter from the NBA Development League.

The 6-foot-11 Hunter averaged 19.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 47 games this season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. He became the 24th player to be called up to the NBA this season when the Knicks inked him Tuesday to an undisclosed deal.

Hunter played at Michigan and had stints in Poland and Belgium before joining Fort Wayne, where he made the All-Star team this season.
