AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - Kenny Perry and Angel Cabrera will go to the
final day of the Masters sharing the lead.
Perry began Saturday's third round tied for the top spot with Chad Campbell. But he overcame consecutive bogeys in Amen Corner to shoot a 2-under-par 70. The 48-year-old Kentuckian is trying to become golf's oldest major champion - at a tournament he didn't even play the last three years.
Cabrera shot his third straight round in the 60s, a 69 that left him tied with Perry at 11-under 205. Cabrera held off Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk to win the 2007 U.S. Open at Oakmont.
Campbell slipped to third by double bogeying the 16th hole and bogeying No. 18. That left him two shots off the lead.
