The Reno Aces dropped their inaugural game 6-2 in Salt Lake City against the Bees on Friday night.

Tony Barnette started the game for Reno and struck out seven, but allowed two runs in 4 1/3 innings to pick up the loss.

Rusty Ryal doubled home Agustin Murrillo to tie the game at one in the fifth. But the Bees came back with a run of their own in the bottom of the frame before scoring three more times in the sixth.

Both teams honored former Bees pitcher Nick Adenhart prior to the game.

The Aces and Bees play again on Saturday at 1:05pm.
