SAN DIEGO -- Former Wolf Pack slugger Kevin Kouzmanoff did not play in Thursday's Padres game against the Dodgers because of a sore right hamstring, according to MLB.com.
"Kouz has a little bit of a hamstring that's been a lingering thing," Manager Bud Black told the website.
In the article, Black says Kouzmanoff might have have aggravated the hamstring on Tuesday when he scored from first base on Chase Headley's double.
Kouzmanoff is hitting just .167 this season in 12 at-bats. He has also left four men in scoring position through the first three games.
The Padres go up against Barry Zito and the Giants on Friday at 7:05pm.
