LAS VEGAS (AP) - UNLV's athletic department is planning a yard sale in hopes fans will appreciate some old gear.

The university said Wednesday it will sell jerseys, shoes and other apparel on campus April 18. The sale will include gear that has been used by players and coaches in men's and women's sports.

Senior associate athletic director Jerry Koloskie says the university needs to make room in its equipment offices, and the memorabilia will include baseball jerseys dating the team's days in the Big West Conference.

UNLV says hundreds of items will be go on sale for as little as $1 and up to $50. Profits benefit the athletic department.
