David Carter to Become Next Head Coach at Nevada

The University of Nevada will name associated head coach David Carter the next head coach of the Wolf Pack.

Carter has spent the last 10 seasons on the Wolf Pack sidelines, serving as an assistant coach under both Mark Fox and Trent Johnson. He's been a big key to the success of the program as a recruiter.

Carter played college ball at Saint Mary's, where he was even inducted into their Hall of Fame back in 2006.

FOXSports.com listed Carter as one of the top 10 Mid-Major Assistant Coaches last season.

The announcement is expected to become official later today at a press conference.
