Mark Fox issued the following statement through the University of Nevada, regarding his departure to Georgia.
"I truly loved being the coach at Nevada. I will forever cherish my time in this community."
Athletic Director Cary Groth also issued the following statement:
"I want to thank Mark and (executive associate athletics director) Cindy (Fox) for everything they did for the University of Nevada. We are losing two highly respected professionals."
The University is expected to comment further during a news conference on Friday.
