Former Wolf Pack star Kevin Kouzmanoff has proven that he is fully recovered from offseason arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
Kouzmanoff made a number of throws in recent weeks showing he has regained the strength in his shoulder, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
New hitting coach Jim Lefebvre told the Union-Tribune he is also impressed with Kouzmanoff's approach at the plate.
“Kouz is untapped; he is very exciting,” Lefebvre said. “He's developing.”
Kouzmanoff is hitting .425 with a .428 on-base percentage this spring.
