Julia Mancuso has won the giant slalom at the U.S. Alpine Ski Championships at Alyeska Resort.
First-run leader Sarah Schleper fell on the lower half of the course and Mancuso, who was second in the first run, won in a combined time of 2 minutes, 12.62 seconds.
Megan McJames was second in 2:12.77 and Keely Kelleher was third
United States Ski and Snowboard Association spokesman Doug Haney
said Schleper suffered a concussion. She was taken off the mountain
in a sled.
