Former Wolf Pack basketball star Kirk Snyder was arrested on Monday for allegedly breaking into his neighbor's home and assaulting one of it's residents.
Police responded to the house at around 4am after a woman reported that someone broke in and attacked her sleeping husband. Snyder was allegedly wearing a mask to cover his face during the assault.
Police dogs tracked the intruder to Snyder's house. He was then arrested shortly afterward. He will be arraigned on Tuesday on charges of aggravated burglary and felony assault.
The man who was assaulted has been hospitalized.
Snyder was a star at Nevada from 2002-2004, leading the Wolf Pack to the Sweet 16 during his final season. He was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 16th overall pick back in the 2004 NBA Draft.
Snyder most recently played professionally over in China.
