Wolf Pack Splits Doubleheader with Utah Valley College

The Wolf Pack baseball team split a doubleheader with Utah Valley College on Saturday.

The Pack won game one 14-4 in just eight innings. Chris Garcia (1-3) picked up the win for Nevada. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up just one earned run on two hits.

Utah Valley got their revenge in the nightcap 5-4. Derek Achelpohl (1-3) was stung with the loss for the Pack. Achelpohl gave up four runs on 11 hits in just 4.2 innings pitched.

The Wolf Pack is now 10-14 overall. They wrap up the four-game series on Sunday at Peccole Park. First pitch is scheduled for 1pm.
