After suffering two concussions during an 11-week span last season, Former Wolf Pack star Ryan Church knows head injuries cannot be taken lightly. And after learning about the fatal ski accident involving actress Natasha Richardson, he also knows how easily they can become fatal.
"That could have been me," Church told Newsday. "It gave me a sick feeling after all that happened to me. You've got to count your blessings."
"She hit her head, she was fine, then got on a plane and died shortly after," Church said. "I mean, I got kicked in the head, kneed in the head, knocked the hell out."
