Former Wolf Pack star Kevin Kouzmanoff was given the day off on Monday with what the Padres describe as a "mild side issue," according to the San Diego-Union Tribune.
Kouzmanoff felt a twinge in his side during his first at-bat Sunday, but continued to play. He had a scheduled day off Monday.
