The Boise State Broncos will continue their season in the College Basketball Invitational.
The CBI announced Sunday night after the NCAA tournament and
National Invitation Tournament selected their fields that Boise
State will play at Stanford on Wednesday night.
This will be the first meeting between the Broncos and the
Cardinal. The winner of that game will play the winner of Buffalo's
game at Wichita State.
The 16-team CBI debuted last season with Tulsa winning the
tournament.
Boise State is 19-12 after losing to New Mexico State in the
quarterfinals of the Western Athletic Conference tournament. One
more win would give the Broncos a second consecutive 20-win season.
Stanford is 18-13. It beat Oregon State then lost to Washington
last week in the Pac-10 conference tournament.
