Chris Carr to Sign with Ravens

Chris Carr

McQueen High School graduate Chris Carr has agreed to a two-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens worth a reported $5 million dollars.

Carr spent last season with the Tennessee Titans, helping them establish the NFL's top kick return team. Carr finished 4th overall, averaging just over 28 yards per kick return.

One of the major reasons for the move is the opportunity to get more playing time on defense.

The Ravens are in need of some secondary help after the recent losses of Chris McAllister, Samari Rolle, Corey Ivy and Jim Leonhard this offseason.

Carr registered 31 tackles and an interception last season, making two starts at cornerback.

He spent the first three seasons of the NFL career with the Oakland Raiders. Carr was an un-drafted free-agent out of Boise State.
