The Dallas Cowboys have signed free-agent DT Igor Olshansky. It's a four-year contract worth a reported $18 million dollars. It includes $8 million dollars in guarantees.
Olshansky has spent his entire five-year career with the Chargers, starting 57 of 59 games. He has 187 tackles and nine career sacks.
Olshanksy will be re-united with Cowboys' coach Wade Phillips. Phillips was the Chargers' Defensive Coordinator from 2004 through 2006.
Olshansky is the first player from the former Soviet Union to play in the NFL.
