Cross Country Junior Olympics Invades Boreal

The Cross Country Junior Olympics invades northern California this week.

The action begins tomorrow, March 9th and runs through the 14th at the Auburn Ski Club training center.

Roughly 400 of the best skiers in the nation will converge on Boreal. Athletes ages 13-19 will compete in a variety of events, including the classic, skate, sprint and team realy competitions.

The Auburn Ski Club last played host to the Junior Olympics in 2005, drawing nearly 1,000 spectators.

The training center is located at the far west end of the Boreal parking lot.
