A's Beat Giants 4-2

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Trevor Cahill pitched three sharp innings and a split squad of Oakland Athletics beat the San Francisco Giants 4-2 Thursday.

The 21-year-old Cahill did not allow a ball out of the infield. He struck out three.

New A's left fielder Matt Holliday hit an RBI double during a three-run second inning.

Jesus Guzman homered for the Giants, his second of the spring. He spent last year in the Oakland system.
