The addition of T.J. Houshmandzadeh will most likely mean less playing time for Seahawks wideout Nate Burleson, but the former Wolf Pack star still has nothing but love for the former Bengal.
In an interview with KJR-AM in Seattle on Thursday, Burleson said, "I'm always partial to get a proven playmaker whether he plays the same position or not. He's a cool cat, laid back. Aside from the personality, you just look at his career, no major injuries and as consistent as they come."
Burleson said he had the chance to meet with Houshmandzadeh for 30 or 40 minutes.
The wide receiver also said he has been running for about a month and continues to recover from knee surgery last September. He said it looks like he'll be back in time for the start of the regular season.
