Bucks' Redd Has Knee Surgery

Bucks guard Michael Redd has had surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that he tore nearly six weeks ago.

Redd was averaging a team-high 21.2 points when he was hurt
after he fell on teammate Luke Ridnour in a 106-104 win against
Sacramento on Jan. 24.

Redd will begin rehabilitation immediately and should make a
full recovery after six months. Redd is expected to be ready for
the opening of training camp next season.

The Bucks have been without the sharp-shooting Olympic guard and
center Andrew Bogut for most of the season. But they've continued
to stay in the Eastern Conference playoff race despite a losing
record.
