Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Kidd became the fourth player in NBA history with 10,000 career assists during the third quarter of Sunday night's game against the Toronto Raptors.
The 14-year veteran handed out his 13th assist of the night when
he passed to Brandon Bass for a 10-foot turnaround with 1:04 left
in the quarter. Kidd received a standing ovation when the milestone
was announced to the sellout crowd.
Kidd trails John Stockton (15,806), Mark Jackson (10,334) and
Magic Johnson (10,141) on the career list.
