Former Wolf Pack star Kevin Kouzmanoff is coming along well in his rehab from shoulder surgery, but although he's ready to suit up, he's not quite ready to take the field just yet.
Kouzmanoff will appear as the designated hitter and bat cleanup in the Padres exhibition opener against the Mariners on Wednesday, according to the San Diego Tribune.
Kouzmanoff has been throwing in workouts and said he expects to be ready for Opening Day.
