The Oakland Raiders cut two more veterans in a move to create more salary cap space.
The team released tackle Kwame Harris and fullback Justin
Griffith today, freeing more than $8 million in cap space.
The Raiders previously released receiver Ronald Curry, safety
Gibril Wilson and defensive end Kalimba Edwards.
Owner Al Davis has now cut ties with almost all the big-money
free agents he brought in last offseason. The only one remaining is
receiver Javon Walker. Walker could be gone before he is owed a $5
million bonus payment on next week.
