Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena says David Beckham's future with the MLS team needs to be resolved.
Beckham's request for a permanent transfer to AC Milan could be
decided Friday. That's the deadline MLS commissioner Don Garber
gave the Galaxy to work out a deal for the English star, whose
contract is owned by the league.
Arena said the Galaxy will do whatever is in its best interest.
Beckham joined the Galaxy amid much hoopla in 2007. He's on loan
to Milan and has said he wants to stay there in a bid to play one
more World Cup with England in South Africa next year.
