Garrett McIntyre will take his career up north in 2009 where he will suit up in the Canadian Football League.
The South Tahoe grad who played for the San Jose Sabercats in the out-of-commission Arena Football League will play for the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the CFL.
McIntyre recorded six sacks last season and was the WAC Defensive Player Of The Year in 2005 for Fresno State.
