Davidson's 43-Game Conference Winning Streak Snapped!

Tony White Jr. scored 19 points to help College of Charleston overcome a 14-point deficit in the second half to beat Davidson 77-75 on Saturday night, ending the Wildcats' 43-game Southern Conference winning streak.

Dustin Scott had 14 for the Cougars (17-6, 9-4), who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Stephen Curry, who finished with 25 points, shot 7-for-23 from the field and 4-for-13 from the 3-point line. Bryant Barr had 16 and Andrew Lovedale added 13 for Davidson (20-4, 13-1), which was vying to tie the league record of 44 consecutive regular-season wins set by Jerry West-led West Virginia between 1956-1960.

The Wildcats managed to pull to within 76-75 on three Curry free throws with 3.1 seconds left. After White hit a free throw to push College of Charleston's lead back to 77-75, Antwaine Wiggins blocked Curry's 3-point attempt at the buzzer.
